Fátima

We start with the view from the balcony of our apartment in Fátima. It was such a beautiful view day or night. We then proceed to visit the Fátima Sanctuary, including the tombs of Lúcia dos Santos and her cousins Francisco and Jacinta Marto. Just outside the sanctuary, there is a small chapel where pilgrims come to pray. The chapel is located in what is believed to have been where the Virgin Mary made its apparition. At the opposite end of the plaza, there is the Holy Trinity Basilica. We then finish with the nightly candlelight procession on the plaza.

Começamos com a vista desde a varanda do nosso apartamento em Fátima. Era uma vista tão bonita de dia ou de noite. Seguimos então para visitar o Santuário de Fátima, incluindo os túmulos de Lúcia dos Santos e seus primos Francisco e Jacinta Marto. Fora do santuário, há uma pequena capela onde os peregrinos vêm rezar. A capela está localizada onde se acredita ter sido onde a Virgem Maria fez a sua aparição. No extremo oposto da praça, fica a Basílica da Santíssima Trindade. Em seguida, terminamos com a procissão noturna de velas na praça.
